My wifi on my 3gs keeps turning off after about 10 seconds of data usage is there any possible solution to this?

Is your iPhones wifi turning off or disconnecting? If just disconnecting, it may be an issue with your router. Try power cycling your router... turn off for 30 secs and turn back on.

try deleting your network connection, and go to settings:general:reset (at the bottom of general) And tap reset network settings. then add back your wifi connection. For security, use WPA2 not WEP. You might also unplug your router for 15 seconds and plug it back in.
