What copy function within paused video for iPhone 4

I noticed that whilst playing back a video on the iPhone 4 in the camera roll, Im able to pause the video and press and hold the screen bringing up a copy command. After pressing the button I havent been able to find an app that lets me paste the copied frame of video. Does anyone know what this function is for?!

This copies the entire video which can be copied to a new email or to an email you have already started composing.

Hi there thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately in mail, when u double tap in the message, you only get the options select and select all, there is no option to paste. This is the same for facebook app. I just think there must be a function for this or why would they have given us the option to copy within a video!

I just selected copy for a video in my Camera Roll, select new in Mail to create a new email followed by selecting the message body to bring up Select, Select All, and Paste. I select Paste to paste the video that was copied in my Camera Roll in the new message as an attachment, which I sent to myself as an attachment.

This isnt working for me. I create a new email and whatever I do by tapping the message body, I only get the 2 select options. I must be doing something wrong I guess!
