Upgrading via firmware file no home internet iPhone 3G

I dont have internet at home, but have downloaded the firmware files needed for both my 3gs and 3g at work... how can i upgrade to iOS 4.1 without internet on my home Mac? Can it be done?
iMac G5 (non-isight) Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Somebody else can correct me if I am wrong, but holding down shift when you click Restore will prompt for file location.
