Updating to iOS 4.0---Stuck on Restoring iPhone firmware 3G

So basically, I was updating my phone to iOS 4.0 and all was going smoothly until now. It has been stuck on Restoring iPhone firmware... for the past hour and a half. My phone had turned off and I searched around and was told to turn it back on again, but still nothing has happened. My phone says plug into iTunes, but it already is. Can anyone help me?
