Trying to setup up work E-Mail using Verizon Service iPhone

Hello All:
First off, I do not have a Verizon email account so this thread does not pertain to this.
At work we have our POP3 email account; however, I cannot figure out the outgoing server. Outgoing.Verizon.net does work but it says it is requiring a password. Is this because outgoing.Verizon.net is only for VZ Mail applications?
The other people I have with that have AT&T iPhones have the outgoing server as CWMX.com. That however does not work on a Verizon since that is an AT&T server. Anyone have any advice on how to fix this??

The outgoing mail server is determined by the provider of your e-mail account.
For example, if your incoming mail server is pop.coolmail.com its likely that the outgoing mail server may be smtp.coolmail.com Of course, it could also be pop.coolmail.com or something completely different.
You should check the support page of your email provider to find out.
Since you mention this is a work e-mail account, I suggest you talk to your companys IT help desk.
