Syncing from iPhone to iTunes

I had to reload iTunes because of a OS reload. I am not able to sync the music on my phone to iTunes. I tried searching everywhere but was unsuccesful. Is there a way to sync the music on your iPhone to iTunes? If so, how? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases.
Certainly you did not reload itunes without making sure that your backup copy was up to date.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases

3rd party program like TouchCopy works also, been using it since finding a post about it here on this forum.
