Hi there
I updated to iOS 4.3 and found that my phone would no longer sync to my PC. After doing some research and trying lots of things (e.g. removing and reinstalling iTunes, de and reauthorising computer, forcing iphone to restart) I was having no luck so I did a restore. This didnt work either and just hung for hours, so had no choice but to stop it and then my partner managed to get my iPhone back to life on his Mac.
My iTunes then recognised it as new and I was able to start rebuilding my library. However, when I sync music to my iPhone now, it wont play - it just flashes up for a second and then crashes out. Only happens on my music - podcasts play fine. Havent tried video yet. It also flashes up the album artwork but it is all distorted (cut in half with the bottom half at the top and vice versa...weird).
I tried downloading a song on my iPhone which played fine, until I then synced it with the computer and it got the same error as the others.
Any ideas?! Im planning to uninstall iTunes again tonight (being sure to completely remove any trace) and erase all data and settings from the iPhone so I can start completely afresh. Its the only solution I can think of.
Thanks
Alan
