syncing 3gs to new computer withou losing memory iPhone 3G

So i havent updated my phone in a while! If I download itunes to my newer computer can I sync my phone without losing its memory? I dont have access to the old computer that I had itunes on before, and that the phone was origionally hooked up to!!I dont have the phone backed up on any memory drive. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
