SMS Messaging--Keyboard Shows in Inbox iPhone

I recently purchased an iPhone 4 (16G)and it has just started doing this annoying thing, which is keep the keyboard up once I finish composing a text message.

I dont know if this can be fixed or what but I hope someone can help.

Oh, about time! Ive been searching for some way to report a fault for hours, because Ive been having exactly the same problem! The keyboard just stays up and, because its not meant to be used in that menu, it isnt functional and just takes up the screen.
Were there any solutions?

Did you do any of the basic troubleshooting steps described in the User Guide?
Restart
Reset
Restore using a backup
Restore as new, without using a backup
