Is it possible to send more than 1 picture as an attachment in the 1 message when picking the photos from my iPhone picture library??

Yes if you have the latest version of the iPhone software 4.0 or higher.
In the Photo app when you can see a grid of photos (i.e. dont go to an individual photo), touch the box with the arrow in the upper right of the screen, you will then be asked to select the photos you want to sen. You are limited to 19 photos max to share, use the share button in the lower left once you have selected your photos.

On iOS 4, you can tap the arrow icon in the upper left when youre in the camera roll with all the pictures, then select up to 5 pictures to share. On iPhone OS 3, you would have to copy them, then paste them into an email.

Yes.
With the Camera Roll, the Photo Library, or a phone album selected, select the icon at the top right
Select the photos you want to email placing a check mark on each selected photo and at the bottom select Share. Select Email. The selected photos will be placed in a new email message.
