Safari search bar not use local Google search iPhone

I live in Malaysia, and my Safari search bar uses Google, but it does not use the local Google site, and instead uses Google UK for searches. How do I change this?
When I type www.google.com in the URL bar, it goes to the local Google site, and Im signed into my Google account as well, the Google main page shows my correct location, but the search bar just wont use the local Google search.
How do I rectify this?
