REPLY PROBLEM FOR TEXT MESSAGES iPhone

When I get a text message as part of a group and I reply it goes to every one. The user manual says that when a person replies as part of a group, that no one else gets that reply but the original sender, manual page 107. When I open the group before the final reply, I cannot delete any of them. Either its a bug or someone wrote a bad manual.

When I reply to a text that has been sent to a group I dont see who it was sent to and my replies only go to the sender.
Are you on some sort of enterprise SMS solution through your work?

It is on my screen when I open the message on the phone, I see all participants, but when I try to reply, it goes to everyone and some complain of message overload, i do not blame them.

Mine works like Ians, if I receive a group text I dont see the list of who it went to and my replies only go to the originator. Is this an AT&T iPhone and you are using the standard Messages app on the iPhone?

Settings>Messages>Group Messaging>Off.

Mine is set to ON and not working the way the OP describes.
