Quickly deleting PDFs from iBooks iPhone 3G

Since I couldnt find an actual iBooks board, Im posting my question here.
Im wanting to quickly delete all PDFs from iBooks and try to select the ones I do want to be synced. When I go into the books section while syncing, I had unselected everything, but to no avail. Deleting everything from the phone is tiresome as you have to do one at a time.
I have the iPhone 3GS, and the latest iOS.
