Problems with photos. HELP iPhone 3G

I have my iphone since 2 years ago, I use it every day and I recently have problems, the cause is when I take photos I can´t see them in the iphone (camera roll) i just see them in my pc when i connect the iphone. this situation is distressing me so please help me, i was reading on internet some ´solutions´ but i don´t trust them because it says that is an software problem, they describe it as a ´bug´ becasuse of the OS 3.0 and the suggest to restaure my iphone but i think it could be dangerous. please help me. finally my iphone is the iphone 3G and when i´ve tried to change the version of the software i couldn´t.
