I have just switched from a 3Gs to 4 (both 32GB). I have my photo options set to sync all photos, events and faces from iPhoto. On my 3Gs, my photo library (18,952 photos) took up 5.1 GB of space, but on the iPhone4 they take up 13.2 GB, and I get a message saying not all photos were copied because there was not enough space. I assume this is because the iPhone 4s higher resolution display allows for less downsampling when photos are synced. I like having all my photos on the phone, but dont want to take up all that space. Is there a way to force iTunes or iPhoto to sync lower-res photos to the iPhone 4?
