I am trying to download iBooks for my 3G. Specs call for OS 4.0 but I went ahead and tried anyway. It promptly tells me that I need OS 3.2. I go to iTunes to upgrade my phone. The message on the screen tells me that a upgrade is available. I hit the upgrade button ... and it tells me that my iTunes software is up to date. ... So what am I missing on the available upgrade ???
Can i get a upgrade for my 3G at this time so that I can try iBooks ????

3.2 is for the iPad only.
iBooks requires iOS 4.0, which is available to all iPhone 3G, 3GS, and 4 owners. Plug your iPhone and click on update on the device summary page. Its simple.
