My iPhone 4 will not sync to my iTunes. I plug it in and itll charge, but my iTunes will not detect it. Any help?

What version of iTunes do you have?

I have had exactly the same problem, I have followed the guide as suggested to the letter and still no joy, each time (3 times now) that I have reinstalled the latest version of iTunes it is recognised and syncs with my iphone but with the next reboot of my computer it is gone again

hi i have the lates verion on itunes for windows vista n an i phone 4. it shows up in the left hand side but when you click on it there is nothing n it doeant synth when i first conect. have uninstalled n re installed about 5 times n still no change.
Please can anyone help.

I have the same problem on my PB PCC 17 with 10.5.8. Plug in both my iphones (3G, 4) and no detection. Someone please help!
