after the latest software update on my iphone, the standard iphone map application is gone.
How do I get it back?

It cant be deleted nor can it be restricted, so look closely on each page & in every folder(if you have folders). If you still dont see it: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout...see if you see it now.
