Microphone doesnt work with apps take voice input iPhone

Three apps that use voice input are not working. Soundhound., Shazaam and Googlevoice say they cannot hear the sound and they used to work...3 diff apps, 3 diff companies. I tried cranking the stereo, I tried screaming, moving the phone, rebooting and nothing works, neither a human voice or the radio, but callers can hear me! ***?
