Lost 99 of my emails from hotmail acct Please help. Desperate iPhone

I lost almost all of my emails I had been saving/using for the last 11 years from my hotmail acct. Microsoft said it is because of the use of pop3. In the setting i have it set to never delete the emails from the server. Microsoft said they cannot recover the emails. Its probably a long shot but is there ANY other way I can possibly retrieve those emails?? Nothing like this has happened to me before using the iphone...im sick about it.
