Limited warranty repair costs iPhone 4

sometimes prices show up when its not the real thing. today for example, the apple worker ordered my phone from the computer for another worker to bring it from the back, and it read $599. confused, i asked if thats what the price of the phone was going to be, and he said its just the price it is listed at, not what im paying.

well that might be the case in a store where you can talk one-on-one but when they send you an email and you read this

then you know it is serious and you start finding answers because they cant afford to place a simple chat button on there site since that would mean millions of costumers and workers chatting same time

Unless Ive missed something, the iPhone has not been released in Kuwait. From what country did you purchase your iPhone, the UK? Or did the iPhone come from another country? If so, that might explain the charge for repair since the iPhone is only covered under warranty in the country in which the iPhone was originally sold and it appears that youve been working with UK Apple Support, though Im just guessing. And how are you planning to ship it there for service and get it back, since Apple will not ship the replacement iPhone directly to you?

I could be wrong, but that repair estimate looks like an Out of Warranty replacement charge. If you send an iphone in for warranty work & Apple determines the cause of failure is not covered by warranty, they do have an out of warranty replacement program. The cost in the US is $199. You should get another email to confirm this.
