Keyboard inaccurate after sentance or two iPhone 4

I have had a problem with my keyboard since 2 updates ago. Any typing app after 1-2 sentences the typing doesnt register. It will register a letter 2 spaces to the left. I am unable to type P, L, or M as they are on the right side of the keyboard. If I type the gibberish after 1-2 more sentences it fixes itself. But will act up again in a few more...
I have : 1. Rebooted - pressing home and power button until Apple logo appears. 2. Restored phone to previous backup, and finally ... 3. Restored to new (losing all games scores)
Question is .... am I doomed to going to the store? Or has someone had a similar experience ?
Help please... it has been months Ive been dealing with this. And other friends have had similar experiences after recent updates...

Ive been having the same problem for months and am on here looking for advice too ... I find that (for me) the inaccurate typing problem always starts after Ive switched keyboards to the Emoji keyboard, typed an emoji or two, and switched back to the English keyboard. Then, 80% of the time, the typing will be off by several keys up and/or to the left, and the only way to get it to type properly will be to quickly switch back and forth between the different keyboards (using the international keyboard key) a few times. But, I cant seem to figure out a way to not have it happen in the first place
