Keyboard freezes on front of screen after sending text message iPhone

Help!
After sending a text message, or composing one, when I click to go back into my messages the keyboard screen doesnt go away. And freezes that part of the screen that its covering. Help!

Press and hold the on/off button and home button until the apple logo appears (about 15 seconds) to reboot the phone this fixes many small faults
