Temporarily removing apps

Hey, I'd like to know if there is a way to temporarily remove apps from my iPhone, but then be able to put them back on at a later date & still maintain the data on them. Apps like Angry Birds, Infinity Blade (in particular). Want to use my iPhone to take vids & pics for an event this weekend & would like to get all the space that I can but don't want to loose the achievements & progress I've made in these apps/games at the same time.So again, I'd like to be able to take them off, use the phone for the event & then put the apps (with their data) back on afterwards. Any solution to that? Thanks.

Audio problems with iphone 3GS

Hi, Audio system of my iphne don't work properly. When i try to watch online TV, I can see the video but there is not sound. The sound work only when i connect earphones. If i remove the earphone the sound stop, but i can still watch the images without sound.  I don't know if it's a technical problem or an application that i must dowload and install from apps store. Thank you for your help. Dany

My iphone4 has recently made a call by itself! I have a 4 digit passcode lock, not sure if it has happened before but will be checking my 'recents' list in future. The call was made to someone in my contacts and lasted for nearly 7 mins......I have also experienced the disappearing songs problem and had to reload part of an album from my itunes library on pc.

Sound issues

I recently discovered after havin my phone on vibrate for a few days that the volume coming from the speakers are and not nearly as loud or clear as it was previously. I can hear fine through the ear piece but when I put a call on speaker it is hard to hear or understand. Same issue when I try to play music.. Not nearly as clear or loud as it was. I never turned the volume full blast either. Not sure if both little things on the bottom are speakers but only one is emitting sound. I have had the phone for about six months and have taken great care of it. I don't know why or what has caused this issue... Please help!

iphone 4S Frozen on Apple Logo Screen. Need help

I have a white iPhone 4S that is permanently stuck on the Apple icon screen. I have: - Plugged it into the computer. It is not recognized.- Held the home button + the top button down in order to reset. Does not respond.- Let the iPhone drain from battery usage. After recharging it eventually goes back to the Apple Logo screen and freezes again. Does anyone know what's going? It seems to have just happened recently after upgrading my iPhone to the newest patch. Not sure which patch number it was, but I just updated everything as of last week. Anyone know what's going on?

iphone 4s battery drain with 5.1.1 OS

My iPhone 4S had been working great, but after upgrading to 5.1.1 OS it is draining the battery by the afternoon every day without any or very little use. I rely on my phone for business and it can't even make it through a work day! It is draining about 4 times faster than normal. I found a post referencing to 'Reset All Settings' which I tried yesterday, but it still is draining fast. I tried resetting, rebooting, shutting down all apps, but nothing helps. Can't figure out where the drain is or how to stop. Anyone have some help?

iphone 4 not powering up

My iPhone 4 suddenly went dead out of the blues without warning. I initially thought the battery ran out but it's been on charge for over 1 hr and it's still not powering up. It wasn't dropped or had any physical damage like contact with liquid etc. Has anyone got any ideas what could have gone wrong?

Memos Deleted with 5.1.1 Update

Good morning everyone.  I recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1.1. Instead of hooking it up to my iMac and updating it through iTunes, I just updated when my phone showed a notification in my System Prefrences app; hooking my phone up to a power source and connecting to Wi-Fi. When it was finished updating, everything seemed to have worked like a charm. That is until I checked my Memos. The 15 memos I had on my phone, all of which were rather important to me, were gone.  I was pretty surprised and angry to see that the update deleted all of them. I don't remember this happening with previous updates... Is anyone else having this problem? Did I not update my phone correctly and that's why they are gone? Is there any way at all to get my memos back?  I'd really appreciate any help wiht this!!!  Thanks so much! Kayla S.

Hi there,Thanks for looking at my forum, Ok so basically while I was away today I left my iPhone 4 in my bedroom all day and bare in mind my bedroom got really hot as the sun was shining in all day (I live in the UK and as you know the whether has been quite good). Anyway, when I got home I removed the bumper that I had on the iPhone and all of a sudden it cracked!!!!! :0 I literarily have no idea how this even happened because all I did was remove the bumper. Also I have NEVER dropped this phone! Could the heat be a factor as it was very very hot in there. Would Apple replace/do something about this as it is 3 months past warranty and I am not happy at all >:( also I would like to stress the fact that this iPhone wasnt dropped. The crack is a small curved line by the earpiece speaker and is about 4mm long.  Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks for your time :)

iphone 4S Stuck on Dock mode

I just recently purchased a iPhone 4S. Unfortunantly, after a month of use the iPhone will go into dockmode and will not play sound through the speakers. When I plug in earphones, music will play, but will revert back to dock mode.  This is not the first time it happened. My 4G iPod Touch had the same issues.  I have not connected my iPhone to any dock.  Restoring did not fix the problem. Any recommendations?

My iPhone 4s has suddenly changed to a really poor picture quality, today i compared it with my friend's iPhone 4s and the difference was astonishing. My iPhone takes quite blurry pictures. I was just wondering if there were any ways of cleaning it or anything that i could do to get the picture quality back to what it used to be.. I reckon it would be a hardware related issue, seeing as i have just updated to the latest software and i have tried resetting the phone but i am still having these issues.

I was in the middle of changing my password, when I received a phone call. When I was done with the call,I tried to enter my old password, but it didn't work. I then tried the new one I was in the middle of changing too,but that didn't work either. I can't restore my phone, because it is "unlocked" and with t-mobile. Water damage iphone iphone 4S

I dropped my Iphone 4s in water and it stopped working for about a week but finally yesterday it turned on. When i turned it on the troche screen worked perfectly, i was able to connect to Wi-Fi but when I called sprint to activate it and we were unable to do it it kept saying " your iphone is not activated". way to copy content from my iphone to brand new Mac with blank iTunes library

Bit of background:This time last week, I had a MacBook Air and a 6 year old desktop PC. Everything I had was on both of them, so they acted as each other's back up. This Sunday evening just gone, my PC finally died a traumatic death, and I can't even get it to boot from Safe Mode. Then on Monday while I was at work, my house was burgled, and my MacBook Air was stolen, amongst many other things. All I have now is my iPhone 4S which was with me at the time. All my music, photos, videos etc are on my iPhone, but I'm very aware that when I eventually get my replacement MacBook from our insurance company (I'm being realistic and accepting that I'll never see my stuff again), as soon as I plug my phone into a blank iTunes library, I'll lose everything that's on there. Obviously I can re-download everything I've purchased from iTunes, though it will take a VERY long time and I still won't have playlists etc, and I can probably either Dropbox or email what photos I have on there, but I have a lot of video clips from over the last few years that aren't on my camera roll - they're in the phone as proper videos, in the video player app, and I can't get Dropbox to view that location, or figure out how to email them. The videos are very important to me and I really don't want to lose them; so much so that I'm thinking of never syncing my iPhone ever again! Basically, what I'm asking is, how can I copy everything from my iPhone into a blank iTunes library? Is it even possible? ANY input whatsoever would be greatly appreciated - I really don't want to lose all my content over this, so please please please help if you can!  Thanks in advance

How I remove apps from iphone 4

I have a number of apps on my iPhone 4 that are resisting removal. First of all, unlike my iPad, none of them show an "X" in the upper left when they wiggle. Next, some apps do not delete upon syncing when I uncheck them in the iPhone apps tab. Third, some apps show only on the iPhone, but not on any of the iTunes sections, e.g., library or device app tab.

AirPrint not working with iOS 5

Prior to upgrading my iPhones and iPads to iOS5 I was able to wirelessly print to my printer which is attached to my iMac (OSX 10.6.8).  A while back, someone on this discussion board posted the following script to run on the iMac to enable AirPrint.  After upgrading to iOS 5 I can no longer print this way.  I even made certain to re-apply the script (because I know that anytime a new OSX is installed on the iMac that it gest reset).When I select an item to print, the "Select Printer" option from the printer options screen does not find any AirPrint printers.Here is the thing. We have 2 iPads, on ine I upgraded to iOS5 and can not print.On the other iPad I have not upgraded and I am still able to print. So, that tells me it is Not the script.  It is Not the iMac.  It IS the iOS5 install. launch AppleScript editor and cut, paste and run the following 2 lines: do shell script "echo '# enable AirPrint image/urf urf (0,UNIRAST<00>)' > /usr/share/cups/mime/airprint.types" with administrator privileges  So, can anyone tell me if there is a newer script for iOS5 or some other way to make this work. Thanks,Brad.

iphone camera vibrate button and home button all not working properly

have had my iphone for almost 1 and a half years, and about 8 months ago my home button started wrecking; i would press it and it would either not open the iphone (take it off sleep mode to show lock screen) or the button would get stuck in and would start the voice control.. then about one week ago my vibrate button wasnt vibrating, even when i got a call or message or alarm... around one year ago, my camera started wrecking; like i would go into it and it would be blurry, and over the past year it has been getting worse and worse, and now i cant use my back camera at all.. any suggestions on what to do for any of the problems? oh and today i heard that if you take your iphone to apple store and show them the problem, you can get your iphone replaced for free? is this true?
