I have recently removed my wireless router from broadcasting the SSID. Ever since then, I cannot connect. I go into the wifi settings, and click Other, enter in the SSID, which is just three capital letters ***. Encryption is WPA2 Only. I tried with TKIS+AES, or just TKIS, or AES. No luck.
Anytime I try to connect, I get a message saying Could not find the network ***
Can anyone assist me with this?
Thank you

First delete your present network settings on your phone and do this: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
Next, make the SSID visible on your router.
Next, on your phone, set up your network connection using Other, put everything in manually under Other. This step is very important.
Connect.
Once connected, turn the SSID off on your router.
Your phone should connect automatically after this.
The important point is to manually enter everything in Other.

My way leaves your router alone and should allow you to reconnect automatically.
On your iPhone tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
When the phone restarts, tap Settings > WiFi > Other and re-enter your network name, security, and network password. Dont forget, your network name and password are both case sensitive.
If that doesnt do it for you, then unhide your network name and leave it unhidden. Not broadcasting your network name is pretty much useless as a security measure. You are far better off with strong encryption - WPA2-AES is pretty much uncrackable unless you are the NSA.
