IpHone 4 will not set up hotmail account. pop3.live.com incorrect Suggest

Cannot get hotmail; iphone 4 will not set up hotmail account and says user name or password for pop3.live.com is incorrect. Tried numerous times and password and user name are correct. Help pls.
Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Try the exchange optione and use m.hotmail.com as your server. Works !
