iPhone 4 jumpy video playback

Ive seen this too, intermittently. Videos I import via iPhoto are sometimes jerky, though everything Ive run through iMovie (the iP4 app) seems to be ok so far. I suspect a glitch, Im sure itll be sorted out at some point - doesnt really bother me now I use iMovie to edit before importing.

Are you saying video shot with the iPh4 is jumpy when viewed on your computer -- or that video from outside is jumpy when viewed on your iPh4?

Video is jumpy when imported from my iPhone to my computer; the iPhone plays the video fine. (I also use a Flip at the same res. with no jumpiness in video playback. Videos also wont play when I send to MobileMe from iPhone or after I import to iPhoto and send to MobileMe.)

I have same problem. HD movies recorded on iphone 4 play great on iphone but when I import them into iphoto and open them in quicktime, the movies plays very jumpy and sound gets out of sync.
Like others, I can import the movie into imovie and it plays fine.
The problem seems to be quicktime, but one would expect it to play correctly in quicktime: I have a new macbook pro 13 10.6.4 with 8 gigs memory so computer power should not be an issue.
