iPhone 3G 8GB iTunes just stuck at restoring iPhone firmware

Hi, so i have big problem. when i try to restore my iPhone 3G, everything is fine until itunes dont reach Restoring iPhone firmware... and then it just hangs there. And I dont know what to do... because it doesnt show any error, and iphone dont shut down. it just stays here. i tried to kick it out of recovery but it doesnt work.
can anybody help? or should i just use that iphone for parts...
