Import new mail account from mac to iPhone

Hello folks,
I have a macbook pro and an iPhone 4. The first time I connected my iPhone to the macbook it imported all the mail accounts, with all the settings and so on. Now, I create a new email account on my macbook and I cannot figure out how to import this new mail account on the iPhone. Could you help me please?

With your phone connected, iTunes running, on the Info pane, make sure you have a check in the box labeled Sync Mail Accounts and also a check in the box for the account/accounts you want to sync. Hit the apply/sync button.

I checked the box Sync Mail Accounts but I dont have the new mail account in the box Accounts. However, I noticed that the iphone imported the calendars associated to the new email account, but not the email account itself!

Close iTunes. Launch iSync from your applications folder, under preferences, select Reset Sync History, give it a minute or so to run, when finished, re-boot your computer, launch iTunes, connect your phone, does the account show now?
