iBooks on iTunes Selecting all or none iPhone 4

Background:
-Plug in iPhone 4 and launch iTunes
-Click on my iPhone icon in iTunes
-Click the Books tab and view all of my books that could be synced
Now, my issue is, is that I just loaded a bunch of books that I had from a while back. I dont want to sync all of the books to my iPhone, but I would like to sync about 5 or 10. By default, all of the books I just loaded into iTunes are selected on. Is there a quick and easy way to de-select all of them so I dont have to click every single check mark? Ive tried the basic option-command-A but that didnt work. There is no select all or none check boxes. The only way I can find to de-select 100 books is to uncheck each and every one, one at a time. I hope theres a quicker way!
