iBooks Help iPhone

I just got my iPhone 4 and Im loving it. Im just having a problem with iBooks that I cant seem to figure out.
I bought one book, and also got the free Winnie the Pooh. However, they wont download. At first, it didnt work because the purchased book was apparently bigger than 20mbs, so it needed to be hooked up to itunes. Im connected now, and it says to go to the Purchases page and click download. However, when I do that, it says Ive already downloaded the book, so I cant do it again. Sometimes after that, the book disappears and Ill try again, but same result.
Its the same thing with the Winnie the Pooh as well.
Whats going on? =/ Im gonna call the support center tomorrow, but it would be nice to maybe find out here instead.
