ibooks EPUB format issues iPhone

Reply Topic I have recently installed ibooks onto my iphone 3GS. Ive also have a sony ereader which also uses the epub format for books.
Ive then successfully moved my books into itunes then synchd them to my iphone and the books appear on the ibooks bookshelf but when i click to read them the following message is displayed - format not recognised......
Can anyone help
