How to delete photos from photo library on iphone G3s

For some reason iphoto uploaded a whole lot of photos to my iphone G3s that I didnt want in my phones photo library. Anyway, I want to delete them all but I cant find out how to do it. There is no trash icon for the iphone photo library, only options to copy, print and share.

if you want to delete ALL the photos on your iPhone, do the following:
1. connect your iPhone to iTunes.
2. on the photos tab in iTunes, check the directory from which the photos are being synced.
3. once you find the directory, go there and delete the photos which you dont want.
4. after deleting the photos you dont want, delete the iPod/iPhone cache folder (which should be inside the folder that your photos are being synced from).
5. now click sync in iTunes and your photos should get deleted and replaced (if you dont want to delete all of them).
