How I reinstall Google maps iPhone

I deleted Google maps from my iPhone 3GS by mistake and want to get it back. Its not available in the app store and Im loathe to Restore the phone back to original settings in case I loose all the apps Ive bought/downloaded - and everything else etc.
Anyone know how to get it back?

You cant delete any of the built in apps, nor can the built in maps app be restricted through restrictions. So, do this: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout...see if you see it now.
