HotSpot and Tethering option iPhone 4

So iOS4.3 will have HotSpot function in GSM versions...I talked to AT&T, I currently have a Unlimited Data plan...If I want to get HotSpot/Tethering i will get the 4GB plan for $45...So I asked if I didnt like the HotSpot/Tethering and cancel can I go back to unlimited? They said No you get the 2GB plan...
Is that realy the case? Anybody cancelled their thethering plan?

Yes, that is true. If you change out of the (grandfathered) unlimited plan for any reason, you cant go back to it, ever...
