Having trouble transferring App Game from iTunes to iPhone 3GS

Ive been through the forums and spent tons of time reading etc.
Nothing tells me how to do this.
I downloaded a >20G game last week and dumped it for this reason. Today, I downloaded another >20G game and Im determined to figure this out.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Use the Apps pane in iTunes when your phone is connected. The instructions are on page 56 of iPhone iOS4 User Guide
You select the apps you want to sync and click the Sync button.
If you dont see an Applications library in your iTunes left sidebar, go to iTunes Preferences General and put a check by Apps under the Show section.
