Hello: I have an iphone 3gs and would like to upgrade my firmware. If I click on help and check for updates, however, I get an error message that says The iTunes update server could not be contacted. Please check your Internet connection, or try again later.
Im connected to the internet, of course, but itunes isnt recognizing this for some reason. Any advice would be appreciated.

Make sure that you have the latest iTunes software and try reading this: iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
