Deleting Photos iPhone 3G

Is there a way where I can delete all my photos on my phone without the constant deleting one by one by my phone? I have over a thousand photos on my phone, and theyre all saved on a flash drive so I dont need these photos anymore.

Regarding photos in the Camera Roll, not sure what you are using for the import of these photos on your computer but the app I use for the import includes an option to delete the photos from the Camera Roll after the import process is complete as when importing photos from any other digital camera. Do this after each import, which also helps to improve the iPhones backup time.
