Deleting Messages on Only One iPhone with MMe

My wife and I have the same mobileme email address. Right now, if I delete an email, the same email is deleted on my wifes iPhone as well. Can you unlink the phones so that deleting on one iPhone does not delete on the other iPhone. Have the same issue with our iPad as well.
MacPro and MacBook Pro Mac OS X (10.5.7)
