Data source for Stock tracking application iPhone

I want to make an application that can track stock prices. Would anyone know of a data source I could use legally? I asked Yahoo financial, but they said they could not grant me permission. Anyone know of a good source for stock prices that is free?

You will have a hard time finding one as I believe all these sources pay/have an agreement already in place with NASDAQ, NYSE, etc. Perhaps you could contact those folks directly.

Thanks for the suggestion. I emailed both groups, but I havent heard anything from them yet. Hopefully they will be in a sharing mood.
