It does exist. No the balance isnt like other cameras - as I amazingly keep seeing.
What I would like to know from Apple is if the problem is a hardware or software issue. I have noticed that the balance seems slightly better than when I received the phone when it first came out, which leads me to think that there is some OS tweaking going on. However, everything inside (especially taken under CFLs) is still yellow tinged and I have to adjust all the images in Photoshop for color if I want to use them.
Its a great camera for low light, with crisp clear images. Ive been experimenting with it to take images for my commercial site. Better than my very expensive Canon digital SLR. But the color is a real problem.

You arent addressing Apple here. If you feel that your camera is off, make an appointment at the Genius Bar to get it checked.

Yes, I know that this is a user to user forum. But it is also a public forum that exists on Apples real estate, and Im sure that the Apple folk have a look now and then.
I WOULD like to hear from Apple on this subject. Anywhere. Perhaps consider this a petition for them to address this issue. Somewhere, anywhere.

I know. But a girl can try and I do try to remain optimistic. If it is an OS issue, which is the hypothesis I lean towards - going to the Genius bar or exchanging hardware is a waste of time.
So Im counting on the power of global whining to put a little pressure on. Even if they dont want to admit the issue - which I can almost understand because the media would sensationalize it and then the other phone people will capitalize on it. A sad, but true consequence of admitting a problem.
So Im whining. And I did also send a whining plea into the vacuum of Apple feedback oblivion as well.
