I used to be able to close apps running in the background by holding down the middle button. Now when I hold down the middle button it activates Voice Control.
How do I correct this I need to be able to close apps.

Exit the app you want to close by pressing the home button. Double tap the home button quickly. Hold your finger over one of the apps to make them wiggle and then press the red negative sign over the app you want to close.
