question the first ... so the new 3Gs has a coding on it that help with the finger prints.... now with my old phone when i go fishing i will have fish smell on my hands and be touching the phone so after i get back i will get rubbing alcohol out and disinfect the phone.
now i heard that you are not suppose to use any chemicals to clean the new phone with, might harm the coding, well what would be the best to clean and disinfect it after a fishing trip or so.
thanks

You may want to wait until the phone is actually out.
Likely more answers then.

From the Apple website (http://www.apple.com/iphone/how-to/index.html#basics.cleaning-iphone)...
Cleaning iPhone
To clean iPhone, unplug all cables and turn off iPhone (press and hold the Sleep/ Wake button, then slide the onscreen slider). Then use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid getting moisture in openings. Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean iPhone. If your iPhone has an oleophobic coating on the screen (iPhone 3G S only), simply wipe your iPhone’s screen with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oil left by your hands and face.
Note: in case youre searching for info, its spelled coating not coding

i though that looked coding looked wrong .... coating ....
yes i saw that on the website by my concern is with disinfecting it.. just wiping will not get the fish smell off, and raw handling of the bait... guess i can look up with the coating is and see what you can use to clean it that will not hurt the finish

No worries. In any case, I think youre best off not using it with fishy hands!
