Chat application for iPhone 3GS

Hi,
I bought a new iphone last week.
Please tell me which chat(yahoo,gtalk etc) application is best for iphone and from where i can download it. I want to stay in touch with my frnds through chat all time... please help...
Also if you can tell me the limitations (if any) it would be of great help.

The only place you can download apps for the iPhone is the AppStore, either direct on the phone or in iTunes on your computer.
If you do searches for chat, IM or instant messenger plus the names of the chat services you want to use, youll be given a list of suitable apps. You can read the descriptions and reviews to help decide which is the most appropriate one for your needs.
