Can not open my Epub Books on iBooks App iPhone

I got yesterday my new Iphone 4. As I am already for years now an Ebook Reader, I tried to transfer some of my books to my new iPhone.
All my e-books are in an Epub Format.
I went to iTunes, I imported the books to iTunes and than I draged and dropped them to the Books Folder of my Iphone. When I open now the iBooks App I can see my books, but if I want to open the books, it gives me the following error message: This book can not be opened because of an invalid format or the format is not known. What am I doing wrong????

P.S And how can I use a song from my Music Collection as a Ringtone??????

Depending on where your epubs came from they may have copy protection to limit their use with a particular reader.
Google iPhone ringtones and youll find lots of tutorials on how to make ringtones.
