Back up file password iPhone 4

Hi all,
I just bought an iPhone 4 and had backed my iTunes up with my old iPhone, when trying to back up my new phone with my old phones data it is asking for a back up file password but I had never created one. Does anyone have any ideas if apple can reset the password for you or any other ideas?

If you have a check in the box labeled Encrypt iPhone Backup on the summary pane, then your iPhone backups will be encrypted. If you cannot remember the password, you will not be able to use this backup to restore your phone, and no, Apple cannot reset such for you. You will have to delete all existing backups under iTunes>Preferences>Devices, and then remove the check in the box to encrypt on the summary pane and start over.
