Audio capture from an app iPhone 4

hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to capture the audio coming from an app through the headphones. Its the Inception App, if any of you arent familiar with it Ill give you a quick run down.
Its marketed as an app that changes the world around you, makes everything a dream. What it does is sample audio coming from the speaker in the headphones to create really cool trippy loops and synth sounds. so driving down the road sounds crazy because you can hear the road and other cars, its awesome, then you start talking and its AMAZING.
So that is the app in a nutshell, what I want to do is write out a script and be able to say it through the app, record it, then be able to manipulate that in an audio program.
Is this possible? can I set up some kind of recording solution using Soundtrack Pro or Adobe SoundBooth?
