Apps store password iPhone

Hi all
Recently just upgrade my Iphone to OS4 and have downloading a apps from the apps store on the phone using my apple ID but subsequently every download it does not prompt me to enter the passwords for my apple ID.
Any suggestion helpful ideas that can help me safe guard for accidental downloads.

I believe there is a 15 minute window after the first time you provide your password in the store that you dont have to provide your password again. Is this what you are seeing?
