Application wont install iPhone

My wife got an Iphone 4 for xmas, and after changing her phone contacts etc. to the new one from her old 2G phone, she gave the old phone to me. While I dont plan on activating the phone, I can still use the web,emails etc when in a WiFi location.
One of the Apps she used to have on the old one was Facebook. Because I couldnt figure out how to remove her Facebook Login information each time I went to FB, I deleted the FB Icon and planned on reinstalling. The problem arises when I go to reinstall, The install button is greyed out and says installed. I cant find it anywheres on the phone. How do I find it? I am scared to hok it up to her Itunes as I dont wantto do anything to her backups. PS. Other Apps will download but FB wont.

1. Did you search ALL home screen pages?
2. Did you look inside all folders on your home screens?
3. If you enter Facebook in the Spotlight search box, is it located?
If you canr find it on any page or folder, yet it shows up in Spotlight, try:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. The will rearrange the stock apps to their original positions and 3rd party apps alphabetically.
FYI: NEVER post your real email address or use it as your username in any public forum. Automated spambots will pick it up and youll be flooded with spam.
