Application restores applications iPhone

If all apps on your iPhone were in your iTunes library on your computer where they should be, and you restored your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhones backup, the apps that were on your iPhone were not reinstalled and organized in the same location? This is what iTunes does, or should. There is no 3rd party app that does this and there wont be one.

Why dont you take screen shots of each of your App pages and import the photos into your computers photo library. Youll still have a job rearranging them but at least you wont have to try to remember how they were arranged.

Nope, iTunes did not reinstall my apps in the same order I had them on my iPhone. It just dumped them all on the phone. I had to reorganize them myself.

That is what I was thinking my only option was. A solution, but still requires a fair amount of work. I just wish iTunes would reinstall them as I had them installed. Seems like the logical thing to do. Thanks.

iTunes should. It always has for me the few times Ive restored an iPhone with iTunes from the iPhones backup.
